During my internship at QuickTakes, I was tasked with managing the rapid expansion of our social channels and optimizing user interaction with our mobile and browser-based applications. My responsibilities encompassed the meticulous gathering of user feedback and conducting detailed QA testing, ensuring that our product offered a seamless user experience. By collecting vast amounts of feedback from social media engagement and direct user comments, I collaborated closely with interns and the engineering team to develop and pitch new features that directly addressed user needs and concerns.
Additionally, I spearheaded a comprehensive market research initiative, analyzing strategies employed by competing brands to enhance our social media presence significantly. This effort was instrumental in achieving a substantial increase in visibility and user engagement, as evidenced by achieving over 1 million views across various platforms and a 17% increase in app downloads, through strategically crafted edtech content. I also created a cohesive brand kit, which played a crucial role in ensuring content consistency and strengthening our brand identity across all communication channels. My role extended to providing quality assurance testing to the Research and Development team on a high-priority, unannounced project.
